Kailee Venzin, DPT
Dr. Kailee knew she wanted to be a Physical Therapist since she was a sophomore in high school. She has always been intrigued by the human body and knew she wanted to dedicate her career to helping others. She chose to attend Misericordia University, both drawn by the freshman-entry Physical Therapy program and the heavy recruitment by the soccer coach. She graduated in 2012 at 23 years old with her Master’s in Physical Therapy and moved to Pittsburgh, PA to work for University of Pittsburgh Medical Center. Dr. Kailee returned to her alma mater to receive her Doctorate in Physical Therapy and graduated with her Doctorate in 2014. Dr. Kailee has worked extensively with women with orthopedic conditions (think hips, knees, shoulders, necks) and chronic pain conditions (think fibromyalgia, complex regional pain syndrome) prior to specializing in women’s health.
Dr. Kailee chose to specialize in women’s health and completed intensive training in obstetrics and women’s pelvic floor function and dysfunction. She is passionate about pelvic health and overall health throughout life and has found that taking care of moms during their childbearing years is the ultimate form of self-care and prevention.
Dr. Kailee felt called to open Kailee Venzin Physical Therapy after working for years in “corporate medicine”. She was tired of seeing a different patient every 15 minutes and felt like she could not provide the quality of care she wanted to in that short amount of time. She knew how busy moms-to-be and mommas were and wanted to ensure that even busy moms got the care they needed, so she created a mobile practice to bring women’s health care to women in their homes.
Dr. Kailee lives in city of Pittsburgh in Greenfield. She and her husband, Nicholas spend their time entertaining their dog, Rory, trying new restaurants in the city, traveling, and playing soccer, tennis, and golf (Dr. Kailee is still working on her hand-eye-coordination).
